Today and tomorrow we’ll be featuring Lisa’s picks! If you have never made cards with fabric sewn on them, have no fear. It’s really easy! I’ve done a bit of card making at home using my sewing machine and the one thing I have learned working with fabric and paper is that fabric stretches but paper does not. So, most of the time, I just wind up going with the flow and if I am sewing a heart, for instance, I just know it won’t be perfect. But that’s no matter. Fabric cards are meant to be a little freeform and organic. Thanks for passing this tutorial on Lisa and head to Quilting Along the Grain for full instructions.
