It’s time for Halloween fun and I have just the project for you to get started on right now! Check out this super cool quilt-as-you-go table runner and treat bag designed by Jean Anne Sharrai and Gayle Noyes. The fabric is from the Scribble Monsters II collection by Leere’ Aldrich and kits for both the table runner and treat bag can be purchased from The Quilting Bee in Spokane, Wa. The table runner appeared in the October/November 2011 issue of McCall’s Quick Quilts and the treat bag is a FREE bonus pattern…click here to download. The magazine can be purchased here. This lovely quilt was a color option that appeared in the Fall/Winter 2011 Quilt Sampler. The fabric is from the Love collection by Cedar West.
This dazzling quilt designed by Sue Cook appeared in the September/October 2011 Quiltmaker. The fabric is from the Shades collection by Kinkame. You can click here to purchase the magazine.
This beauty was designed by Anita Peluso using the Sweet Caroline collection by Skipping Stones Studio. It appeared in the Fall 2011 Easy Quilts. Kits can be purchased online here.

I’ve got a couple magazine project features to show you that use some of our latest fabrics out in the shops now. The first one is using Le Jardin de Papillons by Chris Chun and it appears in the April 2011 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting. This lovely quilt was designed by September Olson and made by Eileen Houchin.
This next project uses the Nature Rhythms collection by Studio.K and appears in the February/March 2011 issue of Quilter’s Home Magazine. The cool quilt design is by Rochelle Martin.
This last project is actually a block design from Quiltmaker Magazine which appeared in their March/April 2011 issue. The block uses the Milly collection by Erin Ries…cute! You can download the instructions for this cute little block on the Quiltmaker site here.

Do you need a fun and easy project to start off the New Year? Look no further than McCall’s Quilting March/April 2011 issue. Stephanie Sims designed this project out of Daily Grind fabric by Barb Tourtillotte. There are four placemats with matching napkins. Look for Daily Grind at your local quilt shop, or order the kit for this project from D’s Sewing Center.

Ok, so there probably aren’t enough days left to finish this holiday gift project, but this quilt kit could make a great gift for a special quilting friend! This is the European Feathered Star quilt from the November/December issue of Fons and Porter’s Love of Quilting. Isn’t it gorgeous? The fabrics are from the European Taupe IV collection by Kinkame.
